Some of us don't like Facebook, though as it claims to be European I guess I won't be using vk either.

VK is a bad copy of Facebook, essentially local and an "asylum" for those in Russia who don't do Facebook.
Unlike Facebook, VK is heavily populated with "simple people" and Putin admirers. We've had a case there just recently when a guy now face criminal trial for "offending feelings" when he's expressed in a dispute (a comment) his opinion that there is no God and the Bible is just a fairy tale. Imagine that on Facebook. :doh:

Facebook has awful interface. Vk is more friendly in many ways. Also vk is better optimized for the real Opera browser (v12). Facebook simply don't care about opera users.
