Where are my Opera 12.17 Bookmarks?

Dear Opera Users
Less than two weeks ago my PC suffered a spontaneous crash, that is my Master Boot Record somehow imploded, and I lost my C:\ drive, after 5 years of very stable service.
The computer repair shop put the data and apps from my C:\ drive onto my D:\ drive and now I am trying to find my Opera 12.17 bookmarks so that I can import them into my current version Opera, which is v35.0.2066.37.
However, I cannot find those bookmarks because I do not know what file to look for and, if I find them, how to import them into Opera 35.x without loosing or corrupting anything.
Any help or solution will be gratefully received.

Dear Opera Users
I've found an old Opera "Bookmark.adr" file, which could be what I am looking for, but I cannot find a way to import it into my Opera 35.x.
Once again, any help or solution will be gratefully received.

What version of Windows was the old drive using? On Windows 7, it tends to be C:\Users[your username]\Appdata\Roaming\Opera\Opera\bookmarks.adr, but you'll need to set it to show hidden folders because Windows doesn't want people who don't know what they are doing messing up their application data.

Opera 34 uses a different format for its bookmarks file, as they rebuilt Opera from the ground up with version 15. To import the old format into the new Opera it either has to be in HTML format or be used in an installed copy of Opera 12. You load the old adr file into an existing copy of Opera 12 by just replacing the default adr file included with a fresh install of Opera 12 with a copy of your old one.
So either install Opera 12, load that bookmarks file into it and then use Opera 35 to import from Opera 12 or install Opera 12, load the bookmark file into it, export it has HTML and then import the HTML into Opera 35.

Dear sgunhouse & lando242
Sgunhouse, I still use Windows XPSP3, which may surprise you, but I can still get what I want out of it and don't see the point of upgrading for upgrading sake.
Lando242, I think you answer to my problem is spot on, I pan to get and install a copy of Opera 12.75 either later on today or tomorrow.
Thanks for your help.

So either install Opera 12, load that bookmarks file into it and then use Opera 35 to import from Opera 12 or install Opera 12, load the bookmark file into it, export it has HTML and then import the HTML into Opera 35.
Do both.

There never was a 12.75, the latest official version is 12.17 (though there were earlier Developer builds ambitiously numbered 12.50). On things like this, I'd download it from Opera's FTP server and not some third party ...

Do you have all Opera 12.17 folder backed up?
Try with this:
Create a shortcut by adding in Target some routes and commands to import Old Opera Data in the default profile path "Data" or creating a new profile with Old Opera Data imported, depending on your needs:
路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路路
1- To find your paths
Go to Menu > About Opera > Paths
(Routes in my case, Full Command):
"C:\Program Files\Opera Browser\Opera Stable\launcher.exe" --presto-small-prefs-dir="C:\Program Files\Opera Browser\Opera 12 Org\Profile" --user-data-dir="C:\Program Files\Opera Browser\Opera Stable\Profile\Presto Prefs"
2- Adding Just this part, uses the Default Profile and deletes any other previous setting on it 路路 Be careful 路路
"C:\Program Files\Opera Browser\Opera Stable\launcher.exe" --presto-small-prefs-dir="C:\Program Files\Opera Browser\Opera 12 Org\Profile"
- Path to the installer of the new version: 'C: \ Program Files \ Opera Browser \ Opera Stable \ launcher.exe'
- Data Import command: --presto-small-prefs-dir=
- Installation path of Original Opera 'Presto' In my case: 'C: \ Program Files \ Opera Browser \ Opera 12 Org \ profile'
3- Adding this one, Creates Another Profile, to start over with another new profile to back up & copy just the files need it to keep an Original Profile save
"C:\Program Files\Opera Browser\Opera Stable\launcher.exe" --presto-small-prefs-dir="C:\Program Files\Opera Browser\Opera 12 Org\Profile" --user-data-dir="C:\Program Files\Opera Browser\Opera Stable\Profile\Presto Prefs"
- Command profile new facility: --user-data-dir=
- Profile path: 'C: \ Program Files \ Opera Browser \ Opera Stable\ Profile \ Presto Prefs'
- Custom profile Name: Presto Prefs (Use your own)
***** Reason:
Creating a new profile, import all your data but do not delete the default profile folder "Data" in case you have installed and ready with some extensions or other settings, after that you just copy the appropriate files to the default profile "Data" or just use the new profile and create custom profiles, useful for many scenarios:
Some Files that matter.
- Bookmarks
- Searchs
- Cookies
- Login Data
- History
- ...
Doing Step 2 all previous data will be erased Be careful
Doing Steps 2,3 another profile will be created (You may run as many as your machine support :))4- Just to Create Different Profiles
"C:\Program Files\Opera Browser\Opera Stable\launcher.exe" --user-data-dir="C:\Program Files\Opera Browser\Opera Stable\Profile\ProfileName"
Moreover, using that way you may create as many profiles as you need.
