Editing Search Function

Hi,
after I just recently upgraded from 12.16 I am facing an issue regarding the quick search shortcuts. I mean this feature where one just types for example "g + <keyword>" in the address bar and gets directly to the Google search result page. Now I downloaded the browser while being abroad and for Wikipedia "w" I am now stuck with the query format "https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/%s", and I want to get results as usual in English. Updating Opera with a version downloaded at home yielded also no results. Is there any way for me to change the address for the "w" query without installing Windows anew? I know that I could just use a different unused letter for the English Wikipedia, but I just don't want to change my habits. All I need is for the entry "w" to be linked to "https://EN.wikipedia.org/wiki/%s".
Thanks for your suggestions. I only found a somewhat similar topic in this thread, which however does not answer my question. https://forums.opera.com/post/92437

If it says "Edit the file Local State found in your profile folder" then it is correct. The file saves your location among other settings and as such determines which search engines you get by default.
I'm not on my laptop at the moment to look at my file for comparison, but now that you know what to look for in a forum search it shouldn't be hard - or someone else will post it shortly.
