The purpose of this thread is to examine what we have lost with the new wave Opera Vs the Old school Opera 12.17

I'm not an expert, but there are some features that were very useful and present on the old Opera

like:

1° - You can set Opera 12.17 as it didn't send the info about the provenience server

2° - You can set Opera 12.17 to open a specific file extension with a specific program

Please post on this thread the features or the list of features that you know are missing

With what end goal in mind?

Quite.
There's a list as long as your arm of things that are in 12.17 and not in later versions, mail, bit-torrent, fit to width, site specific settings, I could go on and on!
The fact is they are gone and probably won't return.
Just carry on using 12.17 like me until it becomes completely unusable on too many sites, and then assess what is the best alternative at that time.
It might be Vivaldi, or Otter, or even the current Opera!
