Adding google searches to homepage, no + sign available

Hi all, I am facing an issue.

The search results of a google page does not have a + sign for me to save the search results to my home page. Anyone knows how to do so? The plus sign appears when I go to another webpage e.g. click on the links in the results. It just doesn't have it for the results page itself.

Opera version: 34.0.2044.98679
android version: 5.1
Phone: HTC Desire 520

I can see the + button here but only if i go to www.google.com and do the search there. If i serach through Opera's address bar, the button will not appear.
