Opera Mini works like Android Browser in Nexus 7 for example. Default browser on N7 is Chrome BTW.

Opera Mini is really only half a browser - sort of like Amazon Silk. Half of the browser resides in the cloud. Opera's servers preprocess the data and compress it, then send it to Mini to be rendered on your phone. Since Mini is not a full browser, there are certain types of active content that it doesn't do well on. On the other hand, the part that resides in your phone is tiny, so there are phones where Mini is the best browser available.
Opera for Android is a full browser - there are no external servers preprocessing your data. And it is based on Chrome, so as far as rendering goes it should be the same as Chrome. But Opera does have its own features, like Turbo if you want the compression of Mini without the other preprocessing.
But I still don't know what Opera 10 was supposed to refer to ...

What I'm saying is that Opera Turbo doesn't render much better than Opera Mini on Nexus devices (beside interactive js and some other stuff). Marks @200 points in both cases with opera 14 - N7 running Android 4.3. Ain't the same thing running 4.4 on a chinese tablet where the performance is doubled with Opera Turbo. Sounds stupid but it's true.
