After importing bookmarks from chrome, they are not accessilbe or usable or visible. How does one get access to imported bookmarks?

Have you checked in bookmarks > imported bookmarks?

That is where they are but not on the bookmarks bar where they should be. That is the problem.
What a shame because that makes Opera unusable, even though it is faster than Chrome.

why should they be on bookmarks bar?
and why is the problem to move them?
it's one drag and drop...

When I try to drag a folder from Imported Bookmarks to Bookmarks bar, there is a circle with line through it and drag-and-drop does not work.

Here it seems to work despite the forbidden sign

You can also try Ctrl + A > Ctrl + C and then Ctrl + V on the bookmarks bar folder.
