To workaround this bug for now, use the middle-mouse fast scroll (middle-click, then drag, not scroll-wheel), then click on the next page link.

Hey dave. I can't send you a pm through this crummy new forum.
What are inverted commas?

Not Dave, but I believe he is wrong to suggest using “inverted commas”, what I think you need to use is "straight quotes."
“Inverted commas” are 66 and 99 quotes also known as “Smart Quotes” because applications will autocorrect " before or after words intelligently to open or close quote.

Sorry, I've always called the " symbol an inverted comma!
Apologies if that's wrong in this context.

Every time I try to select the page selection buttons at the bottom of these forums using Opera 12.16, as soon as the mouse cursor gets anywhere near them, the page jumps up to about a quarter of the way up the page so the buttons are off the bottom of the screen!
The only way I can select them is by bringing the mouse cursor down onto them extremely slowly so the page doesn't jump.
Is anyone else seeing this, it's driving me round the bend!
Don't cry!:)
My insinuations about that are as the following:
- it reminds me very much of a sorta mouse gesture - it happens when I clockwise my cursor - but only (or primarily?) when I'm at the bottom of the page (touching the nav.buttons seems questionable);
- after that gesture my pane scrolls so that the upper topic with unread replies which topic is the upper within the lowest such uninterrupted cluster [of such with unread topics] gets at the top of my pane (this is usually - but not always);
- it may still be a bug - because if a page isn't one of section pages in the list but is only one there (no navigation buttons) - no such behaviour seems observed.

THE MAIN thing -- it only happens in Opera. Chrome is innocent
Fox hasn't been tested yet.
