Can't delete search engines. Is this normal?

I cannot seem to delete Google, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, Amazon, Bing, Wikipedia search engines. Normally you hover your mouse point over it and an X or Delete option appears. Or you click the line and another window pops up offering options of deletion or make default. Under Other Search Engines you just click the line and the window pops up and you can remove it.

Yep, this is by design, you can not delete pre-installed search engines.

Hi @rh99, you can try this workaround, it removes almost all default search engines - except Google
