I already did 2 clean installs and that did not change anything, Opera still lags a lot on my phone.
And what is your phone?
My phone is Xperia S with stock Android 4.1

Here it's a Moto X Play, still no noticiable lags.
Why Chrome and Firefox run smoothly on my phone and Opera not? I did that test.

I did that test.
How, if Chrome doesn't have Discover/News and History is not in the side of Speed Dial?
What are the steps to reproduce the issue?Open Opera, after speed dial loads, swap to history or discover, im my case lags.

V33 was a large improvement over v32, its working fine on nexus 5,
The scroll to top or bottom thumb arrow is still not working, one of the reasons why I stayed on v30 -

I have this issue too, when I type in xda developers the word I just typed disappears when I press backspace to add a comma, and space button displays it again,or mistyped words being displayed with auto correct.
I also had issues of text not being displayed when i try to submit it on other sites and had to repeat what I typed.
So I reverted to ver 30 and the scroll thumb works, no scroll up to refresh,
While I reverted to v30 with titanium backup, Google store would try update it to v32, even though I had auto update disabled, so I had to do in flight mode and detach It from the market. -

Nope, I find this impossible to believe. What changed in 32 (where the freezes started for me) and 33 that would make Opera so heavy compared to 31? Nothing. Almost no new features to justify this.
Opera is just freezing constantly because of something they have to fix.

Hi
Today my Samsung phone was updated with new version of Opera for Android.
I also got this problem with screen that freezes when scrolling from History to Discovery.
Then I deleted Opera browser and installed same version again, and everything now works perfect.
My phone is Samsung S4 mini, with Android 4.4.2
Regards

Beta will be updated when a new beta - Opera 35 beta - is released.
Still no fix, it crashes, freezes, and doesnt show folder's content.
There is always a price to pay for using betas.
i think they should stabilize beta first then release it as stable version, not to release stable version with beta bugs and then repair only stable version and beta leave stand alone

i think they should stabilize beta first then release it as stable version,
This is exactly what they do.
not to release stable version with beta bugs
There is no such thing in the world of softwares. There will always be bugs otherwise (almost) no software would be released.
Usually when moiving from beta stage to stable stage, they try to fix the bugs that are top priority, usually the ones that will affect more users and may impact or even prevent the software usage.
nd then repair only stable version and beta leave stand alone
If you don't like buhs then you should use only the stable versions.

So why they released stable version with speed-dial folder's issue? (now fixed) and it has been reported here and via bugs report system too. And what you said they fixed beta first i dont think so, using it roght now and it's nightmare.
Btw i use beta because love new things, love test new things, but that waiting for fix is endless... Sadly -

So why they released stable version with speed-dial folder's issue?
Probably because it wasn't considered a showstopper bug? Bugs have different levels of priority.
Btw i use beta because love new things, love test new things, but that waiting for fix is endless..
And the ones who love to see new things first are also able to deal with bugs, this is trhe price they pay.

Very pleased overall
with Opera in Linux desktop and Android. But would really like to know why I am prevented from importing my local bookmarks in Android, while it is easy in Opera Mini. Don't want to use sync to do what should be easy without. What is the story? Will this get fixed? (Please!)
