          Then scroll down until you find this: Looking for the previous version? Download Opera 12

              The fact is that you simply cannot say no panels, no buttons, no menus, no mail... etc. The new browser is under development and we don't know what features will be added over time. What we do know is that Presto is finished. We also know that the new browser is fast, is far more compatible with today's websites, is stable and is having features added at a very quick pace.

                Opera with new engine is being imprisoned. freedom is taken. We do not want a browser-based chrome. contrary to the nature of this opera. I hope you will return to Preston. We see that Opera is just sad.

                  Conform or start to program your own browser then crying several users have experienced here, I do not think another one will change the facts. But anyway, their protest is registered.

                    @leushino
                    Opera is a Chromium child and can not get a panel because Chromium has NOT the ability to add panels. That is a technicval problem which cannot be solved!

                    No, Opera will NEVER return to Presto development. Dont waste time in unfullfillable whishes.

                      Correction. "YOU" do not want a browser this non-Presto-based browser. Many others, including myself, are very happy with the new browser and are excited about its future. Presto is history. You need to understand and accept that.

                        I never said that ALL the former Presto features would be returned. For instance, I don't expect mail to be returned and quite naturally panels will not be added back. Neither is essential to a good browser anyway. If these are things that you cannot live without, then you'll need to find another browser. Try SeaMonkey.

                            I very seriously want to submit my experience:
                            more than 10 years I used Firefox as my favourite browser and sometimes Google Chrome.
                            As I saw, that Firefox went slower and slower by each update and startup-time increased - Google Chrome was never an option for me -
                            I tried Opera 19 and was enthused: extremly fast, clear organized and brand new, so that there is much room for developemtent and improvements.
                            Needless to say, that Opera ist now my only browser.

                            That's the browser I expect and want to use!

                              The developers had to leave Presto because they would lose to the others browsers if they didn't do that

                                @leushino i will use icedragon and opera 12 now. but icedragon based chrome, seamonkey based mozilla. I hate, chrome & mozilla. For this reason we chose opera anyway. now transpired chrome mozilla-based being forced to use a browser is a nightmare. i find any other browser I use opera as original. but Chrome and Mozilla to get away from me.
