How to disable the tab bar?

Chrome doesn't have it (its integrated at the top), it wastes space, so why doesn't Opera have an option to disable it or put it at the top like Chrome? This is one of the very few features of Chrome I wish they had incorporated! Did I miss that option somewhere? Hope so. And is it possible to have no tabs, just windows?

Maybe if you open links only a new windows.
