Can I have my old Opera account topics and posts linked to my new one? I want to use my old email account with my new account, is that possible too?

Your account itself - your access data - has been trasferred to and inherited by these Operaforums. So your MyOpera registration email must be valid and in use - if you weren't banned nor deleted your MyOpera account.
My.opera.mail is non-existent, though. -

Why not just use that account?
I will do that, however I prefer to use my gmail with it. I can't use gravatar because I use my gmail there.

As far as I can remember, WordPress (and gravatar thus) allows you to assign different pics to different emails. No?

The point is I use my gmail for personal use and my outlook for university, so I want to use my gmail.

I already managed to use my gmail again. You just have to use like this: example+username@gmail.com
However something really weird is happening. I am getting notifications from my old account.

The fact he is getting notifications from his old account is not really surprising, if people are posting to his subscribed threads or whatever. You'd have to login to that account and disable notifications if you don't want them. Gmail is capable of checking mail on other servers, my Android tablet uses Gmail to check the mail on my home ISP though I don't have a proper Gmail account of my own.
