How do I get my bookmark panel in v.32

I downloaded Opera 32, and it's almost unuseable. I have a lot of bookmarks, and the bookmark interface is a useless cludge! It takes forever to find what I'm looking for, and forget about opening multiple pages quickly. Mainly, what the hell happened to panels? This was the best feature of Opera and made navigating bookmarks and history so much easier than any other browser. How do I get this supposedly new and improved P.O.S. to act like the much more useable and frankly far superior older version?

That gives me a blank sidebar with no handy list of bookmarks and the options to add, edit, and organize them in an easy to use interface. THATS what I want back. And the option to open each link and bookmark automaticly in its own tab would be nice.

I just installed Opera 32, upgrading from v. 12.16. I found that my bookmarks were imported relatively well, although organizing them was quite time-consuming. Once they were organized into folders under My folders, though, it seemed to me that their function was not unlike that of the former Bookmarks panel. Admittedly, I didn't use that as much as I did the Bookmarks menu. But if you get your imported bookmarks organized into subfolders under My folders, then it is possible to scroll down through the folders, select a folder, and then view the bookmarks either as a fairly convenient list or as ugly, inconvenient, blocky Windows 8-style tiles. (Not that I dislike them or anything  ).
In the list of bookmark folders on the left, you can right-click on a folder and select Open all in new tabs or Open all in new window. -

You need to install a bookmarks extension that uses the extension panel. This way you will havĂȘ your bookmarks panel.

Got the V7 bookmarks extension and it's almost like the old bookmarks panel. It's still annoying, though, that I have to go to third party extensions to replicate what used to be native features.

I just installed Opera 32, upgrading from v. 12.16. Importing bookmarks was easy; organizing them was terrible (see this thread). But I find the Bookmarks interface not to be that much different from the old Bookmarks panel, once you organize bookmarks into subfolders under My folders. If you had that kind of organization in the old Bookmarks panel, you should be able to import it and recreate it in v. 32. Once it's in place, you can hover the mouse pointer over a folder, right-click, and select Open all in new tabs or Open all in new window. (If there are 10 or more sites, it will ask you whether you really want to open so many.)
