Opera discarding extensions

Version: 32.0.1948.69 - Opera is up to date
Right! Upon being closed, and re-opened, Opera lose all installed extensions and logs me out of my synchronisation account. It keeps my current session, though. I don't know why this happens, but this is very infuriating. I would like some help regarding this, please, and thank you.

I must confess that I still use Opera 32 (gotten too used to it). I noticed this this morning as well. My entire speed dial was back to the default (all my speed dial shortcuts were gone, including some folders that took quite a bit of time to set up), and all of my extensions are gone (they're gone from the Extensions folder on the hard drive). Opera did remember the previously closed tabs, though.
Leocg, I'm not sure what you mean by "new clean profile"? I just closed Opera last night and opened it this morning again after restarting the computer.
I wish I had made a list of my extensions... cause I can't remember all the ones I've tried and which ones I eventually settled on. This Blink version of Opera is truly still in beta.

My custom keyboard shortcuts and some of my Opera settings (e.g. default download folder) were also reset to default.

It's the current stable version.

Go to "About Opera" and take note of the path to Opera's profile folder. Then close Opera and rename that folder so a new one will be created.
Start working with Opera and check if your changes are kept.
Btw, what is your Opera build?

This is really quite alarming. ugcheleuce, did you lose your bookmarks too? I use them more than Speed Dial, but would not want to lose Speed Dial either. It took me a couple of hours last night to organize my imported bookmarks after upgrading to v. 32 from v. 12.16, and I'd rather not do that again!
Following leocg's advice, I located the profile folder. It occurred to me to just make a backup copy of it, in case of problems. Windows won't copy certain files while Opera is using the files, but I at least got the bookmarks, and maybe Speed Dial, depending on where it's located. Of course, if I shut Opera down to do the backup, and it decides to reset itself to default on the way out, I'd still lose my settings.
EDIT: I copied what I could from the profile folder to a backup folder, and saved all my open tabs in Speed Dial folders for safety's sake (wouldn't have been very safe if Opera ate the Speed Dial, though, would it?), since it looked like we might have a power cut here. I closed Opera down, and successfully copied the complete profile folder to the backup. When I restarted, though, everything was in place. Whew.

The renamed folder would be your backup.
Thanks. True, if I were going for a clean profile. Not having had the problem yet, I'm not going that far.
