Extension sync not available

To my surprise Opera synced everything apart from extensions and a few settings. Will we get extension sync in the near future?

I asked for this in the suggestion box and it got some attention. I've also asked for another nifty feature - the ability to sync your custom dictionary. I asked, first, for them to sync a few things (including extensions) and some seem to have been implemented in the beta and dev builds.
One of the other things I asked for was to not just sync the extensions but to also sync the extension settings so we needn't waste time configuring them when we do a new install or move to a new workstation.
By no means do I have any insight on what they'll actually be doing but they've been pretty speedy with some requests. The afore mentioned post got some good responses and some has already been completed so I can only hope that they will, indeed, be adding this and doing so in the not-to-distant future.
Hope that helps. I don't imagine they'll give an official answer at this time nor an estimate. They're working pretty hard and you can't always tell how easy it's going to be to add/change the code base. Someone's probably tinkering on it as time allows and will merge it to the trunk when they've debugged it or something similar. We can hope.
