  • Perhaps one of you wizes can advise me.
I was using Opera 12.17 on a Win7. I just like that version and been using it for
quite awhile. I could go to a site with streaming videos. Not sure what version of
Flash. MB crash, I'm on the Xp now. Well anyway, once the video started, I had a
right click option of something like save linked content as. Then a window as to
save as a file and directory. Now that I'm on the XP and the same Opera version., I
no longer have that option. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

  • IIRC Opera never had an option to download Youtube or any other streaming sites videos, so maybe you were using some kind of extension to do it?

  • Right, Leo.

If there was/is something, it must rather be of the plug-ins/players used.

  • You guys were right. It was something else. Well, the installed version of win7 died. I tried for quite awhile to figure what I did to activeate/create that "save linked content" was when viewing video. It was creating by setting up a free account at RealPlayer/RealTime. That triggered it. I'm' back in fat city now.
