Issue while viewing a website

While I use Opera to read the NY Times' website something annoying happens... As I view an article the tab which is near the top of Opera just keeps showing a spinning circle and doesn't stop to display the NY Times icon.
Any possible fixes?Thanks

Can't confirm that. I've just gone to the NY Times and clicked on the first article "Oil Slick Hints Malaysian Jet May Have..." and the loading indication goes away and is replaced by the NY Times logo within seconds. This might have more to do with your connection than the browser.

Which versions of Opera are you guys using? Those reports aren't of any use in the current form...

My connection is fast and this computer is only a few months old. For some reason only when I'm on NYTimes.com the loading indication doesn't go away and isn't replaced by the NY Times logo.
Is there are setting that I could change?

Hello? Calling @kp1996... As @christoph142 has explained, without a version number for your Opera installation, there's no way to know how to troubleshoot the problem or approach solving it with a mere "setting". Old Opera and New Opera have different settings mechanisms.
OS: Win 7-64 SP1 -- Web Browsers: Opera 12.14u, 11.52; Firefox 27; Qupzilla 1.4.2; IE8

12.15 and 12.16 has broken web-sites compatibility. Details: https://forums.opera.com/topic/550/prweb-crashes-opera
Try Opera 12.14 !
