archiving email locally

I am a brand new opera users. I cannot figure out how to 'archive' older email to my local computer.

Opera Mail doesn't have an archive feature.

What you can do i sto create a label, add the messages you want to "archive" to that label, export it and then import into a fake local account.

Do as if you would gonna create a normal account but don't put your password and,when asked for the servers, type something that doesn't exist.

Then change the settings for the fake account so Opera will not try to check for mail and keep showing error messages.
