      Hello,

Would like to see if someone could show me the proper way to make the button for M2 delete mail permanently.

      I tried: opera:/button/MAIL%20DELETE%20 PERMANENTLY%20,,%20"name%20of%20button"

      Seems does not work............

      Thank you very much.
      Best regards, edmond

The command is not MAIL DELETE PERMANENTLY; that is the code for the text string. I'll need to look up the command when I'm on a computer that has either Opera 12 or Opera Mail on it ... and not one of my tablets.

I saw it from the index.ini ( right click command )

          Item, M_MAIL_DELETE_PERMANENTLY="Delete permanently,,,,"Delete""

          Waiting for you.

          Best regards Edmond.

In which case the actual command is Delete permanently ... which is what I see in the keyboard setup file as well. The part right after Item, is the translation string for the item name, the part after the "=" is the command. (And Markdown is mangling the underlines.) Mind you, I'm not sure how you expect to get a button URL in Mail ... I think you'll have to edit the toolbar setup yourself.

I was under the impression that the delete mail button that comes with opera deletes mail permanently unless one uses the drop down delete menu. May be wrong tho.

Anyway, here is a site with lots of buttons for old opera : http://homepage.hispeed.ch/ttt-o/button/contentsec.html#catview

                  SOLVED !

                  I make this :

                  opera:/button/Delete%20permanently,,"Mail%20Del"

Button name however shown " Delete permanently " instead of above I supposed use button name " Mail Del "

I will sort it out later as I made button before know how to correct this in-correct button name.

Button is work to delete mail permanently.

                  Thanks to all your time.

                  Edmond.

Successfully made button with custom name. I made like this in Opera V. 11.xx.

Paste to the address bar :

                    opera:/button/Delay,10,,Del%20i&Delete%20permanently

the button will appear with name " Del i "

Thanks again to all of you.

                    Edmond.

Your earlier button was just missing a comma, but that's fine.
