    The Problem i am experiencing on my Opera 31.0.1889.99, "Can't open user profile directory, because

      This is very discouraging me in loving Opera more, Kindly fix it as soon as possible.....

        This is a problem with the permission on your system or the way you installed Opera. Theres nothing the Opera devs can do to fix this. You either need to install it for 'everyone' or give it admin privileges.

          Does it work if you run Opera as administrator?

          How Opera was installed (all users, standalone, etc)?

              You don't say enough to know whether this is the same thing, but I just got this error message in Opera 31. The context was that Opera got into a bad state where it didn't seem to be able to load any pages. So I exited, but there were still Opera processes leftover. I tried to kill them from the Task Manager, but 3 of them refused to die. When I tried to start Opera at this point, I got this message. I suspect the Opera code is misinterpreting some error condition.

              Anyway, after I rebooted, all was well again.
