I am a disabled person I apologize I need help with the Email Software could you assist me

1 How do I set it up for Gmail ?

2 Could I set the pop-up window to stay open indefinitely. til I get New Email ?

There's no need to apologize for this.

1 How do I set it up for Gmail ?

Go to Menu > Mail and Chat Accounts > Add, type your Gmail's address and password and folow the steps to set up your account.
Note that you need to enable pop and/or imap on your Gmail's settings.

2 Could I set the pop-up window to stay open indefinitely. til I get New Email ?

Hi all - I'm sorry but being new, I couldn't find any way to create a new post.

I'm running Opera 1.0.1040 on my Windows7 PC. My problem is this: I don't want Opera to automatically Send or Receive emails, when Opera first opens. I want to do it manually, & when I'm ready!

Is there a way to prevent this, & only Send or Receive manually?

I couldn't find a way of doing either of these things!

In accounts properties > Incoming, disable "check for new messages every x minutes". I guess it will help.
