Opera crashing in Windows 10

I'm having more and more frequent issues with opera for windows everyday. (64 bit - windows 10)
I've been an avid opera user on android phone and windows since 1999. This is breaking my heart.
Lately, Opera will just crash with no messages and restart everything (reload tabs etc).
NOW, it seems that drop downs on web pages dont work anymore (are these java?)... dropdowns like when you mouse over some image'd button and a menu rolls out. It just occurred to me while typing that this could be a Flash update issue, but I thought Opera just took care of that stuff with version updates (unless everything is html 5 now or some stuff like that. I cant' keep up).

Okay, so that we don't duplicate effort what steps have you taken to try and fix the issue?

Hi,
Same for me. Since I updated to Windows 10 (which is running fine by the way), Opera seems to struggle one some pages, I don't know what it involves exactly, maybe Flash, maybe some extensions.
Opera crashes and I have to kill it, otherwise it's waiting ages and nothing happens.
If anybody has any idea about, glad to listen.
Thanks in advance.
Éric
PS : Windows 10-64b, Opera 34.0.2036.25. I7 / 16Go Ram. -

Same here, for me Opera crashes everyday many times. Like marojejy said, it might be something with Flash since when i try to open a page with some live video player it crashes, but not always its random.
Ive been using Opera for years and never had problems like that until recently.
Im using Windows 10 64-bit
Opera Version: 34.0.2036.41

I am recently having a similar problem that latest version of Opera (Opera 34.0.2036.47) crashes in Windows 10 64-bit and when I restart Opera all my tabs have disappeared.
I currently have this problem on 2 PC's.
It is really annoying as I love using Opera.
I have reinstalled Opera with no resolution.
Anyone have any suggestions how to resolve issue?
Just so you all know I have Opera to continue from where I left off on startup so should not be loosing tabs after crash.
Thank you.

YouTube freezing.
Have been running Win10 with no problems with Opera or anything else since August 2015, but suddenly getting freezes on YouTube after updating Opera to version 34.0.2036.47. Videos play for a while, but consistently end up freezing. YouTube set for HTML5 priority with fallback. YouTube shows compatibility with all formats.
Maxthon 4.48.1000, Palemoon 25.81 x64, IE 11, no problem.Desktop AMD FX4200, 8G ram, Sapphire HD7730 1G video, Opera 34.0.2036.47.

I am having crash issues with latest version 34.0.2036.47 on both a win10 and win7-pro can't seem to open more than one window at a time.
The reinstall recommendation is one I don't understand because if opera is dead I can't download anything and if it isn't it's already up to date. endless circle.SO there's something wrong with the version sent out and the real question seems to be how long until it is fixed.

Just to add I'm having one or two crashes a day Opera beta 35.0.2066.23. It's not frequent enough or annoying enough to bother trying to remedy but perhaps just worth reporting with all the others.

I have multiple crashes per day as well. I've been using opera for years and I hate to go but this is just absurd. IE in it's worst wasn't this bad.

I have 2 computers facing problems with Opera v 34 freezing in Windows 10 latest build.
#1. New ASUS laptop, i5-5200u cpu, 6 Gb ram, Intel HD 5500 graphics, Windows 10 latest build (clean install).
#2. 4 years old ACER desktop, i3-2100 cpu, 6 Gb ram, AMD Radeon HD 6570 graphics, Windows 10 latest build (upgrade install). Two different computers with different specs and different install of Windows 10.
I don't think it's the computers specifications that is the reason why Opera is freezing, but most likely something with the programming/codes in Opera and/or Windows 10 that will not work together.
In my case I did not have problem with Opera browser freezing when I was running Windows 10 build 10240. The problem started after upgrade to Windows 10 build 10586.
