Hangouts binary location (Dev ~30+, Linux)

Google hangouts used to work on the developer version until recently; they still do on my copy of Firefox. But since about version 30, Opera-developer has insisted on trying to download the plugin every time. Since the plugin is installed and I know it's working, where is it that Opera is looking for it? Perhaps I could put in a link to keep it happy.

Opera for Linux no longer accepts Firefox plugins (aka NPAPI), so something working in Firefox tells you nothing. You need a plugin that works in Chrome/Chromium. Since Chrome is a Google browser, I'm sure they must have a plugin or extension for Hangouts ...

Okay. Thanks for that. I guess I'll have to manually wrestle the debian version into action, then.
