That's a pity.
Opera is based on Chrome, so why not implement it?Google chrome cast is a relative cheap gadget, but also very restricted to chrome browser alone, user unfriendly, unhandy/clumsy and less flexible.
You can't even remove those 2 silly permanently milk sucking pizza trolls with zero intellect when a video stops.
Or choose your own pause or idle screen.You better buy a media box like android, which is a pc in itself, much faster.
Lets you navigate on the internet just like your pc.Google chromecast was a wast of money in the end.

Dear Opera Desktop Team,
is it a general problem oder a lot of work? I also just installed Chrome to be able to use chromecast. As it's possible for android apps to stream to your chromecast, I wonder if this could be an easy way to integrate a chromecast button into Opera, at least on android.
