How to remove new toolbar dropdown thing beside minimize?

How do I remove this?

And I did the OPERA_AUTOUPDATE_DISABLED addition to environment variables in order to stop these auto updates but can I check something to be certain it will stop them? I hate dealing with all this crap every update.

Its not new. Its been there for several releases. All they did was add the recently closed items too it.

The current version of Opera does not allow editing of the UI. So you can't remove it.
