Sidebar in Opera 30

Hi! So I was wondering - is there any way to make the sidebar in Opera 30 show up by default any time I open the browser, so that I don't have to use the key shortcut or click "show sidebar" in the menu?

The only way to do that now, is to go to opera://settings, and under "On startup", check "Continue where I left off". This can unfortunately be very inconvenient for many users, while that settings primary effect is to open all the tabs that were open when the user closed the browser. Hopefully we will get a fix soon.

It is a hassle. I prefer to have the sidebar open by default. Still, looking on the bright side for the moment, at least there's a keyboard shortcut, ctrl-Shift-S, to open the sidebar.
I'm using the sidebar for the Notes function -- via the extension, V7. Does anyone know if there is anything else I can display in the sidebar via the native Opera browser? an extension?

If you set preferred language to other than English, you probably see only those that have support for that language
for instance, this is for Spanish -

The keyboard shortcut is a plus. It would be better to have an option in settings to have the sidebar open, or closed. The user selects. Keyboard shortcuts can get confusing to remember when there are a lot of them.
