Same issue on all opera android browser - Opera for android, opera for android beta and both stable and mini browser.

Can go to opera.com and login. also working fine on other android phones.

As above posters I use opera as it allows sync between pc and phone. If that's not working there is little benefit but doesn't seem like they are trying to fix this any more as replies have stopped.

I'm switching to Firefox until this crap can be sorted. Firefox now has all the functions I require of Opera,just hope my phone has enough system resource to run it OK or I'm in trouble.either that or I'll give Chrome spy-ware ago, mind you correct me if I'm wrong Android is Google, so its spies on every app anyways.

The same thing goes for me - sync do not work for Opera, Opera Beta nor Opera Mini. I am using Asus Zenfone ZE500KL with Android 6.0.1.

Same problem with Opera mini. I've just installed it on SGS5 v.18.0.2254.106542. Password field shows normal text (no ***)
Normal Opera seems OK (logged in long ago and still sync)

I now have the same problem since downloading opera mini. Same on both my Sony Xperia phone (mm) and lenovo tablet (kitkat). Can't sign in on either.

Oh yeah email apparently sent from opera makes me a little paranoid that hackers may have all my fave websites not that there's anything to be paro about. I did think something may have been bad when like some guy said the password was showing and in my case I had tick boxed that password shouldn't have been shown in plain text but it was

I was unable to create a new/sync my opera link account.
It keeps telling me unable to connect please review your network settings.
But I have an active NETWORK
But why would dis be happening to me for some months..
