Can't click on search suggestions

When I enter something in the address bar, I get several suggestions from google, bookmarks, history, etc. But since a while ago, when I click on the links, nothing happens. It's just like empty links.
Anyone else affected?
- I use the latest version of Opera Beta for Android; 30.0.1856.92706
- My device is LG G3
- My Android version is 5.0

Yes. But not only that, exactly nothing happens, the links are still there and opera doesn't even try to load the page. (and it's always like that, since like 1-2 weeks ago I can't use the suggestions at all. Very annoying)

Hi, thanks for letting us know. I'm assuming that the suggestion list remains on-screen when you attempt to click any of them?
We have seen this problem on Android 4.3 and below, but we haven't yet been able to reproduce it on any Android 5 device. We'll investigate some more and see if we can figure out what goes wrong.

Yes, it remains on-screen. Just ask if you want me to send more details, like logs.

Hi again,
We managed to reproduce the problem on a LG G3 device here at the office, and the problem has been addressed on our development branch. The fix should be included in the next beta release, or possibly in a future update.
Thanks for telling us!

Hi, this also happens with my LG L90 after the last update.
And I get a double address bar when I select text in that bar. -

This happens for me also. If I just click in the address field, nothing special happens, except that the whole existing address becomes highlighted. But if I touch and hold down the selection with my finger, to get copy, paste options etc, I get double address bars.
In other words, there is a second bug.

Hi,
This seems to be another device specific bug, as we haven't seen the problem on our test devices.
Could you post a screenshot of the issue?

And just to clarify, you can't just touch and hold on the address bar, you first have to highlight the text just by a simple touch on it, then you should touch and hold on the highlighted text to get copy, paste etc options.

Oh. How weird. Is the contextual action bar (copy, paste, search) working in other scenarios (like selecting text on a web page), or is it always broken like this?

No, this looks like a new bug with how we handle toolbar offsets when showing the contextual action bar.
We have reproduced the problem locally, and the issue is that we expect the default Android text selection bar to be used, while LG G3 and some other devices use a floating toolbar instead.
@rafaelluik: We track this internally as WAM-6771.

Okay, glad to hear you've reproduced the problem. This sort of small bugs that only occur sometimes on some devices can be hard to track down.

A new bug of something that has never been fixed?

The bug I'm referring to in this case is just the "double address bars". The LG G3 shows a custom text selection menu as a floating toolbar, and it's working as intended. The problem is that we move the location of our address bar when we shouldn't, and this is related to the new context menu stuff introduced in OfA 30.
If it was ANDEX-6268, the context menu wouldn't work at all, right?
