Opera 31.0.1876.0 keeps crashing

Opera has crashed three times as I was trying to respond here. No, I can't associate it with anything in particular. I typically have Facebook, Yahoo Mail, and My Yahoo all open as well as a number of other pages at once. Not sure what the problem is, but I'm about to give up and head for another browser. I'm running the Windows 10 technical preview, but don't give ma any nonsense about it not being tested. I don't think that's what's going on here at all.

What do you mean by a "clean" install? I'd rather not lose my bookmarks and settings, thank you very much.

What do you mean dev-tool window? I don't know what that is. I am not showing the developer menu. If you can explain that and how to enable or disable it, that would be great.

@klgrube
it is a window that you open, for instance, from opera extension page (in developer mode), clicking on extension background page. But I guess that's not the case... -

So, we seem to be back to videos causing the problem. I'm not sure what steps to take to resolve this. In other words, when I go to a news page or a page that features a video and the video automatically starts - or I start it - Opera crashes. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I can confirm that Opera often crashes when a video starts. Version 31.0.1889.174 here.
