I have just had to reset and "up"grade from Opera Mini 7.6 (which worked perfectly) to 9.soemthing, which is unusable.
One of the main problems is the "Top Stories" that blocks the main screen with reposts from offensive tabloid headlines. I don't want any sort of 'top stories' and particularly don't want reposts from vile newspapers.
I also can't find the speed dial, can't find a way to upload bookmarks etc etc, all the usual dreary failure of an unnecessary "up"grade.
It's not even effective mechanically, as any attempt to remove the "recommended" bookmarks clashes with the search engine window.
The unfortunate thing about phones is that you are forced to use the latest edition, unlike on a browser (where I used Opera 12 until recently).

Then just go to settings and disable them.

How can't you find the Speed Dial when it's in front of your eyes?

Nobody, except Opera users would know what in the heck "Speed Dial" is. It took me awhile to understand "Operaspeak".
