Using Opera Developer V. 39.0.2226.0 (private viewing) Windows 10

Downloaded copyrighted TV show a couple of days ago. Got copyright infringement notice today from Sony via ISP.
VPN was activated (icon was blue).

I have a similar problem accessing:

I am in Barrie, ON using Rogers Internet service and when I access the above URL using the VPN with "US" selected as the location and I am told that I appear to be outside the US and therefore the content is not available to me.
