Portable is not intended to be set as default; it makes no changes to the registry so Windows does not even know it is there. Easiest answer would be to reinstall it as a single user ("Install for current user") or "all users" install and then copy the profile - other than operaprefs.ini - from the portable install to that.

I see. Thanks for that but I don't want it installed. I'l just stick with the one I'm using thanks.
