Opera is automatically loggin me into my Gmail/Google account?

I installed Opera here at work because I want a browser separate from my Chrome install, which has tons of passwords saved and automatically logs me into my Google account when I go there. So I was more than a bit surprised when--using my freshly installed Opera browser--I went to Gmail to log in to a work related account, only to find it already logged in to my gmail account. So I logged out and was about to add another account, when I realized I was in essence tying the new account to my personal account, which I don't want. I know that Chrome and Opera use the same browser engine, but does that extend to everything, like, saved passwords, etc? Is there anyway to separate the two?

Opera imports data from the default browser in the computer during the installation.

If you remove cookies and passwords from Google, everything should be alright.
