Opera Mail Settings

I am having problem configuring Opera Mail. When I reply to messages in the html mode, they are created using very small fonts. I tried to change the font size for email compose, but it has no effect. How can I compose the email in a larger font? Thanks

The font type and size on a reply may depends on the original message.

So far the only way I have been able to enlarge the font is to select the text and then apply the html tags.

When you reply to the message, what happens if you hit ctrl + home, backspace a couple of times, enter a couple of times, ctrl + home again and then start typing?

Does the text you type then come out right?
