Speed-Dial-Settings in Opera 35 for Windows: There are none!?

Hi folks,

I kept reading about disabling the news-section on the speed-dial page and am wondering:
In the upper right corner I have an additional search field displayed, but there is no settings-wheel to click.

Are you guys all talking about Opera 36 beta or what the hell is going on?
Is there maybe a workaround in Opera 35 how to get there - something like opera:settings but for speeddial-settings?

Settings > Hide the search box in Speed Dial. You need to have power user settings enabled to see this.

Yes, news on start page is a feature enabled by default on Opera 36. Also the cogwheel icon to access start page settings.

lando242 I didn't mean the additional search engine field, but an additional field on the speed-dial-page for searching for bookmarks. Thanks for making the effort!
