so ? the problem is the flash player?

      May be.

Do you use turbo by chance? If so, have you tried with it disabled?

Usually it means problems with extensions, as they don't work on private mode by default.

Same here, a lot of artifacts after some seconds, in some videos.

But not just that, from a long time Opera doesn't play the last/half second of all Facebook videos. Well, except if enabled NPAPI in the older versions.

Try this in Opera then in others browsers:
                https://www.facebook.com/BestofVines/videos/708872122613404/

Is happening with the gifs posted in Facebook too, looks like that they don't have loop.

It will probably be better when Facebook start to send html5 videos to Opera.

I was having the same problem until I read this topic. Yes, the problem happens because of the flash player, not because of Opera. Chrome receives HTML5 version. Opera receives Flash version. I switched User-Agent in Chrome to Opera's. It received Flash version, and the video had the exact same issues you see in Opera. So I switched User-Agent in Opera to Chrome's. It received HTML5 version, and everything worked fine.

In other words, just switch Opera's User-Agent to Chrome. If you don't know how, the simplest way is to download an extension, like https://addons.opera.com/pt/extensions/details/user-agent-switcher/?display=en

Opera supports html5 since a long time.

Because Facebook is being a turd and forcing Opera users to use Flash. By using the User Agent Switcher you are lying to Facebook about what browser you are using so that it wont force you to use flash.

You didn't read the topic. It was said that Facebook is sending Flash videos to Opera instead of html5 ones.
