You can update it only manually vial bookmarks and copy past to the appropriate device in speed dial settings. Read the forum, there was already plenty of discussion about this topic. You have to wait till v29 for proper function, if you can't wait, download Opera 29 Beta (or Next).

In opera 29 there is an 'other speed dials' folder in the bookmarks manager that contains your speed dials from any other sync'd devices.
