Opera crashes on videos without Flash Player

Is it normal that Opera browser v.33 is crashing when I try to run videos that demands Flash player? When I installed Flash player Opera runs fine on theese videos. But I really don't wan't to have Flash player installed on my computer.

Nope, it's not normal. At most the videos shouldn't play.

Probably the lack of flash player is making the page to use the html5 player and this may be triggering the crashes.

Do you have any example pages where it happens? And what is your OS?

I have a new Asus laptop, bought 4 months ago, and have Windows 10, build 10586 (latest update).

This is an example of a video that causes Opera 33 to crash immediately I push start button:

Strange thing. I tried the same video several times today and every time Opera crashed.

So, when I tried to run the video a few minutes ago it was ok. But when I try other vidoes from the same webpage, some of them causes Opera to crash but other videos works fine.

I don't understand why some videos works fine and other will not run at all.

Different formats and/or codecs probably.

I'm not sure about that.

This and some other videos work sometimes but later they don't, and suddenly they works fine again.
It have to be some problem caused by Windows 10, build 10586 and Opera 33.

When I had Windows 10 build 10240 and Opera 32 or 31 on my computer, and tried to run videos that needed Flash player, the vidoe just stopped without Opera crashing/freeze.

Do you use any extensions? If so, have you tried with them disabled?

If you go to opera://gpu do you see anything unusual?

Do you have the latest drivers for your graphic card installed?

If I compare information on my Asus laptop (the one with problem) and Acer desktop computers it is almost identical when using Opera://gpu

And I'm sure I have the latest available drivers installed.

It could be somthing about Asus hardware/software that is not working well with Win 10 or Opera 33, but I really don't know.
The problem started after latest Windows 10 update, build 10586, thats for sure.
