There's a tab bar? All my tabs are in a button on the bottom of my screen.

It is better to have the tab bar displayed for easier access, you could trim a bit of it to save space, but they automatically hide anyway,
You don't have to use desktop view, I use it as I prefer that layout.
Im using a custom ROM to enable full screen mode and to change the DPI, I recall the older version did have this option, opera mobile classic.
Samsung tab 8.4

Embeded videos in websites (from youtube for example) won't play most times, while other browsers do play. Please check it.

Ok, then improve the embeded video playing function.

Inner player it's a must and in some cases this option is missing. Also I've noted that Chrome player works only in one way when experimental Web Platform features flag is enabled.

Changing the app code on any Google sites is an ongoing trial, with Google being google.
You could tie up a whole team full time trying to get all functionality on all Google properties. -

I think this has been mentioned elsewhere, but removing the pull down to refresh, or at least having the option to turn it on or off would be good, as the number of times I've scrolled down and inadvertently refreshed has driven me mad, especially considering there's a perfectly usable refresh icon in the address bar.

At least on tablets I don't have this annoying problem with pull down thing, perhaps it depends on scrolling manner.

I can't see how you're able to do it, you have to scroll a lot to trigger the refresh. Not even a lot of quick swipes will trigger the refresh.

Reader Mode:
Deafult browser on Android (and iOS as well) support it (for a reason!), and IMO it's one of the most important differences between desktop and mobile browsers in everyday browsing.
If you don't use or maybe even know it yet, give it a chance and you will see why I ask for itTBH I absolutely don't understand why Opera still does not support it...
