opera opens in small window

Since the update today Opera doesn't open in the size of the window that I want, which is very big, but opens in relatively small window. Any way to help this?

I've noticed Opera does this after the upgrade to 32 and was going to post the same thing!

Me too! Using Opera 32 on Mac OS X 10.10.5

Hi, we'll release a fix for this soon. If you need a workaround, try setting Opera to 'Continue where I left off' on startup in the Preferences.

A fix was released on Tuesday with the latest update to Opera Stable (build 32.0.1948.69). You should get the update automatically

@molarflyer you're probably not seeing the same problem the other people had here, although the symptoms may be similar. Can you describe in more details what you do to get to this point, and what happens exactly?

Avi, it's quite simple. When I open Opera, it nearly always opens in a small window at the top left of the screen - despite setting "continue where I left off" in preferences.

This is also happening on another computer I have, running 10.11.1.

Another problem now rearing its head is that I always get a crash report on exiting Opera in El Capitan. It seems to close normally, and then I get the crash report!

Correction: The crash on exit is cured. The opening to a small window is not - well, not always!

While on the subject of open "Open where I last left off" why won't Opera open a private window if that is where I last left off?

@wrogers12321 Opera has never given us the option to start up the browser in a private browsing window. I've never seen a response from Opera about this either. Would be nice if it could though.
