Speed dials won't sync

Bookmarks are working perfectly fine for me too! It's the Speed dial sync which is not working! It even sync history!
I have noticed one thing that when typing site's address (one that i had in my speed dials) it shows "speed dial icon" which concludes that speed dials are in my account but are not shown in the speed dial column!
I've tried clearing data/full phone reset, nothing works! Speed dial sync never worked for me since the introduction of this feature.

You know that SD sync will not make you have the sane SD on all devices, right? It on;y allows you to access your SD from one installation/device on another one.

@leocg That's what i'm trying to do, it's not working at all!
It'll show you your speed dials in drop down address bar but not on speed dial page itself.

As i said, this is how it works. You need to click on the icon that looks like a monitor with lots of squares in it to access your Speed Dial from other devices.
Or you mean that when you do this you can't see yours other speed dials?

Please look below for screenshots

Above screenshot illustrate speed dial with removal of some default SDs. I added "192.168.1.1" myself now! The speed dials from my account are not here.

However when i type imgur.com in the address bar, it shows them with speed dial icon next to it. Almost all speed dials i remember has SD icon next to them. This is not what i expected and they're really not tulfilling the function of "speed dial" (since i've to type few letter to begin with) , bookmarks are way faster way to access saved url imo.

If you are using tablet ui you can access your synced speed dials by going to the start page, clicking the Opera 'O' and there will be a button that looks like a monitor with two arrows and some boxes. If you click that button you can see all the speed dials from your other devices.
From there you can import any speed dial(s) you want to your home screen.

When any entry of the Speed Dial is modified or added it requires micromanaging manually... :right: -

What rafaelluik said , Speed dial sync is broken!
It's not working ever since it was introduced!
I've tried it on 5 devices now! It's not working on any of them.

Seems there is some confusion (or disagreement) how speed dial sync is handled, let me clarify how it works and why we decided to implement it this way.
The speed-dials you have in Opera Desktop is usually not the same as the ones you have for your Opera for Android device. We opted for a way to let users access their speed dials on any device without forcing you to have the same speed dials on each device.
So you can still access all your speed dials from all your devices, but this way it's possible for you to have device specific speed dials. You can still easily access speed dials from other devices by clicking the 'Other speed dials' button, and if you want to you can import from one device to another.

But you don't give us the option to have the same Speed Dials on every device, instead of forcing us to have the same SDs you force us to have different Speed Dials on each device. On something called "sync". "logic"

I'm just moving to a new PC, and I naively assumed my speed dials (my main method of saving the sites I visit most often) would sync with it. Not so - wtf, Opera? I can understand not everyone may want to sync their speed dials and bookmarks, but that's what you have sync options for!
Very annoyed my speed dials don't appear on my new PC.
I notice all the default speed dials are spammy ads (Skybet, Investing.com, Ladbrokes Sports?) - so I suspect the reason we can't sync is because Opera has sold this as an advertising space!

I think there's some confusion here.
The problem is not the sync-dial access across all devices. No, the problem is that -- at least for me - they are not syncing across all devices automatically, meaning that the dials are NOT updating with new additions.
Perhaps once every three or four months there will be a new "sync," or update on the speed dial information. But that's it.
Why is this?
It would be nice too if saved-pages on the speed dial could sync as well, at least the links. But the lack of regular speed-dial sync is a big problem.

For people who's speed dials aren't synching (as mine weren't) try this, but NOTE: you'll only be able to do this for the next couple of weeks, as Opera are withdrawing the service 'in December'.
This is effectively, the 'old' method of synching which I assumed had been replaced by the new monitor synch icon in settings.
Enter 'link.opera.com' in your address bar and sign in, ALSO sign in via the monitor icon within the browser, you should now see all your speed dials, and hitting 'import all' should sync 'em.
Bear in mind the caveat with regard to the time limit above, hope this helps.

Syncing Speed Dial was working perfectly with old classic Opera Mobile but not with the new one.
