Does Opera (Chromium) auto update Flash Player?

It did not the last time I used Windows. Flash updated itself and that resulted in the Flash in Opera also being updated. On Linux it's the pepperflashplugin-nonfree and that gets updated automatically too but, again, not inside of Opera but by the OS or by Flash directly.

Nope, you need to do it by your own. If you didn't set flash to autoupdate, of course.

That'll teach me to assume. Yes, I was assuming they left it configured as default as they were interested in it updating. But yes, it will have to be done manually if it's changed from the default.

You are technically correct! That's the best kind of correct. X( LOL

Speaking of which. I should write up a FAQ for getting Flash working on Linux.
