Hello,
I've got a big Problem. I've been using Opera 12 for a Long time, which had an integrated browser and email. I was hesitant to update to the newer Opera (31) with ist separate mail program, and apparently with good reason. When I finally updated, all of mail emails were gone without a trace. I panicked and reset my System to how it was two days ago. My old Opera (12) is now back, and ALL of my emails are listed on the left, but nothing happens when you click on them - on the right is just a blank where the mail should be readable. Strangely, Opera even just found a brand new email, which also appears under "new emails", but also this one is unreadable.
has anyone got an idea how I can make my emails readable again!!! I would really appreciate any help you can offer!!! -

Thank you sgunhouse,
Actually, it did erase 12! The download was still there, but the program itself was gone. Go figure. What a mess. On the field on the right, where you can usually read the email, was nothing but Opera's normal background.
I've fixed the problem, though, by finding out how to export email infos to a hard drive, then deinstalling everything that has to do with Opera, reinstalling Opera (this time only the new versions: Opera 31 and Opera Mail, and then importing emails from my hard drive. It actually worked, thank goodness, so I have everything back now.
For whatever reason Opera Mail downloads every new email twice (probably because I have two different email accounts), but other than that I am a happy person again.
