Go to a webpage where you can log in to an account.
Log in and save the password.
Go to options/clear browser data and clear everything but the saved passwords.
Go to the web same page where you saved your login data... username and password will be forgotten. Can't confirm on beta. Saved passwords remained "saved".

I am very happy to see it is working for others,
but on stock LG d505 jelly bean rom it is a cat-ass-trophy, that i have to type every day or every second day all my previously saved passwords, even if i did not clear browsing history.(No root, no modifications.)

(No root, no modifications.)My phone runs KitKat (Android 4.4). It would be interesting if others with Jelly Bean are also facing the issue.

Hey guys,
I can confirm that yes there are issues in pre 29 builds with password management going back and forth between OffRoad mode on and off. That's just a limitation of the underlying tech (same tech as Opera Mini uses). That's one of the main reasons we're going to the newer Turbo2 technology which still offers great savings and speed benefits and has none of these site incompatibilities. I hope you guys will enjoy it.

Issues are in pre 29 builds...so it'll change in 29. If you're asking when 29 will be released then that's something we never communicate externally because this is software development...things happen and we want the freedom to be able to shift the release a few days in any direction if needed without disappointing anyone.

Nope, latest stable version is still unable to remember passwords, and still asking if i want the browser to remember a password after i selected the never remember option.
Looks like developers simply can`t do anything to fix it.

unbelievable, but password management is still a huge pile of bullshit... shame on all developers... you are still unable to solve this problem, at least you should admit it...
no wonder that there is no password sync option...
Thanks for not giving a shit for bug reports, annd real problems. Please add more useless shit to your browser and remove all the fundamental options...

Hilarious, that this piece of shit of a browser sipmly forgets passwords. No need to clear browser history and cookies (i could easily sellect delete password to, cos it does not make any difference)... it forgets all the saved passwords by itself.
No wonder that this useless browser asks to remember a password agaim and again on those websites where i said do not remember the login data... only working function is remembering a password for a few days.
Any developers willing to answer this?

Site specific? Facebook is such specific or even the opera forums site? Belive me, it has problems on every website.
Having an account of google chrome or firefox means that the installed browser syncs login data too even on android...having an opera account means synced bookmarks and speed dials...
Annoying do you want to exit question and unwanted tab for news... this is what the developer team is capeable of -
