Hi,
I shared my bookmarks to https://share.opera.com/blablabla in order to have a backup and be able to get them back after reinstalling windows.
All went well and eveything is reinstalled.
Now how do I remove these shared bookmarks ?

Thanks Gustav. But that is way too long. they include private information and links including logins.

Well, you should have used Sync instead of the share feature.

Frustrating thing is that before using the feature I read the "Learn more" , it stated..
..........Bookmark collections that you have shared are found in the Shared by Me folder, toward the bottom of the bookmark manager's sidebar. From this view, you can open or remove collections, copy the link again, or extend a collection's sharing timeBookmark collections that you have shared are found in the Shared by Me folder, toward the bottom of the bookmark manager's sidebar. I've checked on stable 30 and develper 31 and on both the bookmarks i had shared were listed in the "shared by me" folder.

and be able to get them back after reinstalling windows.
Ah, i guess this is the cause. "Shared by me" only shows the bookmarks that you've shared on the current Opera install afaik.
Anyway, if you don't send the link to anyone, then nobody will be able to see your shared bookmarks.

There is no security issue as no one is able to access your data.

Got a reply from an anonymous person. Seems they need to go on a customer service training course.
- In this first paragraph they told me I was wrong
- In the second paragraph they told me I should have done something else
- In the third they told me it was designed like this and that I should have done something else
- In the last paragraph they stated again it was probably designed like that
Wow, that is impressive.
It was a very nice and good explanation, no need to argue about that. But no help offered to solve my problem or offering me to delete the shared information for me. Basically they tell me to wait 14 days.
- House owner: "My roof is leaking"
- Handyman: "That is because it is raining"
- House owner: "What can I do to stop the leaking?"
- Handyman: "Wait till it stops raining"

This is a user forum thats open to the public. Was the person that mailed you a dev? I highly doubt anyone from Opera would send you a message like that. I don't see why you'd come here to whine about it though. Its not like we have any control over what another user of the forum messages you.

EVERYONE can access my data.
Are you sure about that?
I can't access your data, nobody without the link can.
