Solved
go to the opera:flags#mse-h264-support, and select "Disabled" from the drop-down, relaunch the Opera

Install the extension MAGIC ACTIONS and in Options select Flash in paragraph Force Player Type. This should help.

Do not start or play the video on YouTube, it's just not the collapse update!

Thank you
For months I had problems watching videos on YouTube, disabling opera:flags#mse-h264 solved the problem -

Youtube videos are playing fine here even with opera://flags/#mse-h264-support enabled.

Same problem here with a Win7-32bit/NV8800GT/AMDX2 3800+. Disable "h264 support" may work, but also disables any GPU hardware acceleration(so its more like a workaround and not a fix!). HTML5 videos work fine in Chrome or Firefox tho.

Disabling opera://flags/#mse-h264-support still doesn't solve the problem, it doesn't load the whole video completely and stalls, I had to resort to install the extension "YouTube Center" and unchecked DASH playback
Opera 30
windows 7
