As i said. I don't have any other opera to sync with, still use 12.17 on PC and will not switch to new opera.
It is not mine anymore...

Any one can confirm, that I don't need a second device to sync/backup my bookmarks with opera account, plz!!!! :|

Opera Sync syncronize your bookmarks with others devices, but if you don't have a device to do it, Opera Sync will work as a online backup.

Yes it'll sync and store the data in your account.
PS. Sync is NOT accessible at link.opera.com at the moment (it's from the old "Link" service).

It should be enough for you create a new account and sign in for Opera to sync your data (currently bookmarks and open tabs). To create an account all you do is open settings, click sign in and select to create a new account.
You say you have a lot of problems with Opera, maybe it's something we can help you with. What are your problems, is it crashing?
