I recently downloaded the newest version of OPERA which I enjoy however there is a problem that I have been having for awhile now when I attempt to watch a YouTube video.

When I try to view a video, there is this large ARROW that appears and I am told to click to ACTIVATE the plugin. After I do this... I have to reload the page to see the video. I can watch the video but every time I visit YouTube I have to do this. It's not that big a deal, but Opera is the only browser I use where I have to keep doing this.

Can't I do something in settings or something so as to not have to continually do this? Again... this doesn't happen on any other browser. I hate to have to use other browsers just to easily watch YouTube.

      Thanks

      DAVID

        Disable Turbo if it's on.

Did you set opera://settings/?search=plug-ins to click to play? Create an exception to allow youtube.com.

Thanks... For the suggestions. Disabling TURBO did the trick. No problems since. This begs the question, is OPERA TURBO a good thing to use? I don't have the most "stable" Wifi signal around. In general... is TURBO worth it on connections that are not the fastest?

            Thanks again

            DAVID

Turbo may be useful only if you have a very slow connection or a very limited one.
