I have started to notice that sometimes there's just a square in place of a web icon. When i first time go the page, it can be fine, but if i visit there again, then there's a problem. Can it just be because of using old version of Opera, or is there anything else i can do?

Which square in your screen grab is the incorrect one, the one to the left of the "this domain is blocked.." text or the one to the right of the grey rectangle, and what would you expect to be seeing in place of it?
          🙂

Both are incorrent. There should be an icon or a symbol.

I believe they are web fonts.

Well, i used x64 version of 12.17. Now i installed x86 version and at least so far it seems to work fine with those web fonts.

It didn't work after all. I guess it's time to move on Opera 28. I already tried it but it won't import passwords from 12.17.

Go to opera:config, search for "fonts".
Make sure that web fonts are enabled.

                      Yes those are enabled.

After few hours troubleshooting, i think i finally found the problem. Strangely enough, it seemed to be RAM cache. I disabled Ram cache and enabled Disk cache for 400Mt. I used Ram cache for some time. Dunno why now it started to cause this problem with web fonts??

Can't yet be 100% sure if it works now, but i'm pretty sure after testing it for a while. Time will tell.

In other words, not RAM cache per se, but failing to reload resources which had been flushed. How long does it take them to disappear?

When visiting the page first time (after cleaning cache), it's all ok. But after doing some browsing and visiting other sites, they will eventually dissapear. This is with Ram cache.

Hmm. Today (after computer reboot) everything seems to be fine even with Ram cache. Even though this web font problem has been there for some days now. Dunno if during the day, Ram cache starts to act out for some reason causing these problems? But i actually found some sites (at least one) response faster with Disc cache than Ram cache, so i might use Disc cache. Have not found much of a speed differences between those two.
